Susan is proud to have been a real estate agent in the New River Valley for well over a decade now. In 2004 she made the bold but rewarding decision to leave her [twenty] year career as a travel agent in Blacksburg,Virginia to pursue a lifelong ambition to help clients achieve even bigger dreams than summer vacations. Raised in a small town in Indiana, she found Blacksburg to be the perfect mix of close community ties in a large college town and chose to settle and raise her family here. In addition to being an experienced REALTOR in the area, Susan is very active in community affairs including participation in the local Rotary, coordination of Long and Foster’s yearly NRV United Way Campaign, as well as serving as 2016 President of New River Valley Association of REALTORS.
A wife to long suffering David and mother of two amazing grown children, Andy & Kate, she is also experiencing the joy of being 'Grammy' to a beautiful little girl, Kaia, and an adorable grandson, Evan.
Her love and knowledge of Blacksburg and the surrounding areas make it easy for her to provide outstanding service to current neighbors needing to sell or new neighbors looking for their perfect home.
